More than 20 years ago, I was sent to a 2-week training to US, more specifically, to Fort Collins, Colorado. It was my first time in US and, even though it was Winter and everything was covered in snow, I managed to visit the Rocky Mountains National Park. I felt in love immediately, right from the moment they gave me a map and some indications at the information office. In later work trips I often took a few days off to visit cities or drive to some interesting area. Gran Canyon was high in my list, and one of my first visits; a conference in Las Vegas, open the possibility to drive to Los Angeles through Death Valley with a few work-mates and, more recently, after days of meetings in Los Angeles, I visited Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks with a colleague. In this trips I normally do not have plenty of time to scout locations or wait for the best light so it is more an exercise of making the best of the situations as I find them.
