I'm Victor, an amateur photographer and naturalist based out of Switzerland. I practice photography since I was a kid and for me it became long time ago an important part of my way of visiting places, interacting with other people and experiencing different situations.
Throughout the years, my photography interests shifted from one topic to another. Like many other people, I started taking pictures of places I was visiting or I found beautiful or interesting. The truth is that I always wanted to do environmental portraits but I was too shy to point my camera to strangers.
As time was passing,  in a trip to Japan, I crossed that line and started doing some kind of street photography, mostly interested in capturing images that tell something about the people and places I was photographing. Most of those photographs are taken quickly, with the intention of not altering the behaviors or attitudes I want to capture, trying to be invisible.
I have always been fascinated by nature, that I enjoy as often as I can, by means of hiking, cycling, and observing the details looking for interesting situations. A few years ago, I started learning about bird species and their habitats and behaviors. These are some of the reasons why you will start seeing here photographs of mountain landscapes, birds and, eventually, some other animals.
I support the following organizations, and I invite you to support them too:
